General

  • Excellent fishing opportunities
  • Close to Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project
  • On-site facilities including outdoor heated pool and Cosy Cafe

Meadow - tick. Lakes - tick. But there’s much more behind the name: the general gorgeousness of said meadows and lakes, for a start, and the fact that guests can fish the teeming waters at zero charge. There are four coarse fishing lakes to choose from at Meadow Lakes, stocked with everything from carp to eels - just pick up a permit from reception before you get going, and make sure there’s an adult with any under 16s.

Then there are the friendly donkeys and goats waiting to greet you; the lovely outdoor heated pool, open from late May to early September, with a separate splash pool for little ones. And that’s before getting started on the rest of the facilities which include indoor and outdoor play areas, a dedicated area for dog walking, WIFI, the 'Cosy Cafe' serving delicious snacks and drinks, plus an onsite shop and launderette.

Please note

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 31/05 and 01/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Please be aware that you would require your own transport as there is no bus stops outside the park. Also taxis can be very expensive.

Meadow Lakes is a family site. We also do not permit groups of four or more under 25s via Pitchup.com.

Absolutely everything about this site is amazing. Cannot fault anything. The shop is great the Cafe is wonderful the staff are brilliant. The showers ,toilets etc are immaculate. The fishing is fantastic. As we are disabled we asked for a hard standing pitch close to the showers and toilets. We were given the nearest pitch available number 11. An easy stroll to them. The water was right next to the caravan pitch. I was given a disabled permit to drive down to the lakes which was very good for me as I cannot walk very far. The location is nice and the views are fantastic. I really cannot say better than this

Meadow Lakes is a fantastic holiday park with everything you may need. It was quiet at the time we were staying, staff was incredible - very polite, happy and helpful! Facilities were great - shower blocks were cleaned 3 times a day, very modern, swimming pool well looked after, whole site nice and clean :) There is small shop in the reception area in case you need something, or there is Asda 10 minutes drive away. Beaches are near by, or you can stay on site and there is plenty to do there anyway :)

    Disliked:

One very small thing I would just suggest - it would be great if there were small shelves in shower cubicles to put your staff on.
