General

  • Peaceful family-friendly site on a working farm
  • Two miles from the Eden Project: arrange personal guided tours on site
  • Carefully landscaped wildlife haven

East Crinnis Camping and Caravan Park is a peaceful, family-friendly site, in a secluded rural setting on a working farm. It's well placed for getting to all of Cornwall, with Charlestown, Mevagissey and Fowey all within easy reach and the Eden Project two miles away.

The farm is in a wildlife haven, with plenty to spot on site and around the peaceful lake added as part of the East Crinnis farmland conservation project. The accommodation part is carefully landscaped and has plenty of shelter and colour among its many shrubs and flowers near a backdrop of tall pine and fir trees.

During the Whitsun and summer school holidays, the owners run a free storytelling and pasty evening once a week.

Please note

Single-sex bookings of 4 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Everything about this site is nice .From the warm welcome and friendly staff to the location and very flat pitches. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness in the shower block and the prices in the shop.Overall we spent a week here on a tent pitch with electric.

    Disliked:

Nothing to dislike. If i wanted to be super critical the showers could be a bit more powerful Oh and the weather was raining a bit !!!

shower cubicles were great as were toilets.. There was washing machines, kettle , microwave, fridge and freezer at our disposal. All excellent..
    Very friendly welcome.
    Very quiet small site.
    Location good for travelling around.

    Disliked:

Gates were locked at 11pm and not opened again until 7am, would be better if opened sooner for those of us travelling home.
The pond was nice but the whole surrounding area was full of dog poo which was not at all pleasant.

From the manager...

Thanks for the lovely review.

Sorry about the gate times but we have this policy to make sure the site is safe and quiet at night and people can have a lovely sleep.

The pond is unfortunately full of Geese poo at the moment - it's 100% not dog mess! The gaggle of geese we've had this year are due to fly soon but because of their size they do create quite a mess.

Wishing you a great summer.

Dan
