- Family-friendly park two miles from Looe
- In the grounds of a stately manor house
- Kids' clubs, pools, crazy golf and restaurant
Look to a swanky Looe holiday with loads to do both on site and in the surrounding area with a stay at family-friendly Trelawne Manor Holiday Park, two miles from town and a mile and a half from the fishing village of Polperro.
Set in the attractive landscaped grounds of a stately manor house, Trelawne has set firm sights on keeping the kids entertained: Freddy and co in the Foxy Club can meet them at breakfast for a day of activities and challenges – we think most kids would scramble onto stage at an invite to see who can warble the longest musical note...?
The fairly fab heated indoor pool and outdoor pool with spiral flume will keep all sorts entertained too, as will the internet café, crazy golf, table tennis, pool tables and restaurant... Looking to Looe practical matters, Trelawne Manor also has a launderette and a food shop.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

From Exeter take the A38 into Cornwall to Liskeard. Continue on the A38 through Dobwalls and turn left onto the A390 signposted St Austell. Go through Taphouse and turn left onto the B3359. Trelawne Manor is 8.5 miles on left.
The fishing village of Looe is only a couple of miles from your manorly base: hang around at its harbour to see the fisherfolk haul home ashore their daily catch, much of which is dished up in the village restaurants. (And, as with everywhere else in Cornwall, a pasty from a local café is also a must – and do watch out for marauding and thieving seagulls.)
Looe is also a shark fishing centre – the Shark Angling Club of Great Britain is based here – so is the top spot in Cornwall to take a boat out for shark fishing; other fishy specimens can be landed from sea fishing trips here too.
Polperro a mile and a half away comes with one of our fave Cornish museums, the Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling & Fishing , alongside cafés, pubs, restaurants, another harbour with stonking great views, and many more opps for sampling local pasties.
A short drive will take you to the Eden Project, one of Cornwall's most visited attractions; if you want to leave the car behind, a local bus stops just outside the holiday park and runs most days from April to October.
