General

  • Only a few metres away from Tamar River
  • Enjoy wild camping in the Launceston countryside
  • Many sports available and beaches at a short drive away

Netherbridge Camping is located in the beautiful countryside of Launceston, only a few metres away from the Tamar River, beside Higher New Bridge, a seventeenth-century bridge crossing the border between Devon and Cornwall.

Guests should bring their own facilities, as this is a self-sufficient site with no toilets, showers or running water. Please keep this in mind when booking.

You can choose among a wide range of sports available nearby, such as fishing and canoeing in the river, climbing, horse riding and golfing, with the nearest golf course being 1 mile away.

You can also head to the beautiful beaches of Cornwall, just 40 minutes away or stroll along the pretty narrow streets of Launceston, home to traditional butchers and bakers along with independent shops and beautiful pubs.
