Netley Farm Campsite is a tiny campsite in a hidden valley in the heart of central west Cornwall - perfect for accessing the whole of southwest Cornwall. Here at Netley Farm we aim to offer a 'real camping' experience, allowing just a small number of pitches so as to create a homely feel and a sense of community on site. The site is perfect for anyone really looking to get away from it all - simply sit out under the stars, next to the warmth and crackle of the campfire - it doesn't get better!
For those seeking a little more luxury, you can choose to stay in one of our little handcrafted yurts or one of our beautiful lotus belle tents, all fully equipped including woodburners.
The washing-up area and shower are in a large undercover barn, along with a fridge, freezer, a small library, and a selection of traditional games with an arts and crafts cupboard (a favourite with the little people). We have created this space to make your stay more comfortable.
There is even enough room to hang your tent to dry if it's been a rainy stay! Fancy putting your feet up, 'the snug' is a summer house with comfy seating and a place for simply chilling out.
There are two 'long drop' dry sawdust toilets, a recycling and waste area, and a communal barbecue area.
Don't forget to have your say in our visitors book.
Netley Farm is located just outside the village of Porkellis, Helston. You have easy access to all of west Cornwall. The beaches are only 30 minutes away.
Within walking distance:
- Porkellis is perfect for walking and cycling.
- There is a fishing lake only within a two-minute walk and a local pub only a mile away. The Star inn serves home-cooked food.
- Poldark Mine is a half-hour walk away.
- Stithians Lake offers watersports and it is only three miles away.

From Redruth, follow the signs for Helston; on the B3297 proceed through the village of Fourlanes and take the second left after approximately 4.5 miles. It is a narrow country lane with only a T-junction on a right-hand bend sign. Follow this lane for a mile until you reach a grass triangle. Bear left up the hill. The camping is at the first turning into a tracked field on the left.

You can now make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children on Pitchup.com.
Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
Use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together when booking multiple pitches: the campsite or park will try to grant your request.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.
