I think we were lucky because the weather was amazing. Not sure this site would have been suitable if it wasn't.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in this very tranquil setting, sharing with one other couple. BBQ’d our own food on the first evening and walked through vineyard, fields and bridleways to eat in the village on the second. The site is a well kept simple affair with composting loo, a portable hand-pump shower (perfectly adequate for a quick wash) and a large communal tent which could be useful should you only have a small tent and get unlucky with the weather, although we only popped in to help ourselves to some cake Bridget had made. We hope to return before summer is out and wholly recommend this unique and very peaceful site.

I had a wonderful stay at slightly nomadic. Bridget has set the place up so it can be social if you want it. As I was camping on my own i was very happy to meet some lovely people who i spent the weekend with. The campsite itself is set amongst the grape vines and next to a lake - Its Idyllic. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves and over the weekend took out kayaks and pedalos in the lake. I pre ordered food from Bridget and she supplied really good quality ingredients for me to cook with morning and evening. The campfire was an added bonus and stargazing in the evening with a glass of wine! I would thoroughly recommend this site.
