General

  • Family site with ten fishing lakes
  • Also with heated pool, kids' club, bar and bistro
  • Less than five minutes from the centre of Chichester

Ten terrific fishing lakes, 150 acres of succulent West Sussex scenery, and less than five minutes from the historic centre of Chichester: pretty impressive vital statistics for Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park, which is also just a few miles from the beaches of the south coast.

The site offers mucho family fun with its heated outdoor pool and paddling pool, lovely lakeside nature trails, and Loopy kids’ club sessions that run from morning until early evening.

Later in the day, you can watch the sun go down over the sparkling lake from the decked terrace of the bar; inside you’ll find a bistro and entertainment venue for a lively night of bingo, karaoke, competitions and live acts. There’s also a brand-spanking new shower block, a small shop, a launderette and a children’s playground.

Silver David Bellamy Conservation Award

    Kids entertainment for little ones
    Good pool
    Generally clean showers/ facilities
    Large pitch

    Disliked:

Camping grounds next to busy A27 - noisy all night
Cars coming on site at night
Some noisy groups (though their music drowned out the noise from A27! So not all bad)
Facilities became more shabby through the weekend - women's showers often cool/ cold
    Play area a bit basic

The views of the lake from the clubhouse at night are stunning. We enjoyed the entertainment also. The park was friendly and camping was comfortable with all facilities nearby.

    Disliked:

The roundabout at the end of the road was a nightmare to get out of but that's nothing to do with the holiday park it should have traffic lights in my opinion and maybe park staff could contactake the local town planning about it....

The swimming pool, the kids like the club house and views from the restaurant area were lovely. The people were all very helpful and polite

    Disliked:

The food from the restaurant was poor. Road noise is there but I live on a busy road so I am used to it, but I can see how it would be too much for people aren't used to it

    Absolutely nothing .

    Disliked:

No hot water in shower block all week 3 days with no hand towel ,the whole block is held together by cobwebs and spiders after reporting this and a light fitting just hanging on a wire ,only the light was fixed ,the toilets were left filthy after cleaners had been in for the most of 6mins a time and not one web or spider was removed in the whole week bloody disgusting place.
We went to arcade and asked if change machines were going to be refilled to be told no and that we have to go and queue at the bar every time we need any these were left empty all week , toilets there also filthy ,in the so called entertainment area the chairs and benches are absolutely disgustingly stained and filthy .
I have never been to such a awful place as this before and will be reporting to higher sources as people don't pay to stay in pigs sty like that.disgusting

Able to pitch with a clear view of the park so we could chill out and let our son run and play. Pool was lots of fun. Lifeguard at the pool was very good so felt safe.

    Disliked:

The club house was a bit scruffy. Toilets had not had a thorough clean for some time and smelled dreadful.

Nice friendly holiday site, pool are was nice, small club house but I quite liked that.

    Disliked:

Shop was very small and sold only the very basics a long walk to nearest co op , not a lot on for my childrens age range 10- 15 (my lot need a lot of entertaining though) toilet block was ok at some points not as clean as you would like but think this more due to younger kids going alone maybe and not the cleaners . Tent pitches was backed on busy road but noise didn't bother us .
