Herons Park, situated in Lydd on the Romney Marsh, offers both camping and fishing for guests. The site is located within one mile of Lydd town, and is a family-run, friendly site that allows dogs and campfires using the on-site free firepits (these are allocated on a first come, first serve basis).

The owners have recently updated the shower and toilet blocks and a washing-up hut. The small on-site shop stocks many camping essentials - firewood, disposable barbecues and a small selection of alcohol and, of course, marshmallows!

The grass pitches are fairly level and marked out. There is a chemical waste point and waste disposal bins within the field. Campers have the option to add a fishing pass to their stay. To fish two rods you will need a current fishing license, obtainable from the post office. Children are very welcome, in fact the whole family is assured of a warm welcome at Herons Park.
