  • Spectacular views and top-notch facilities
  • Relax in the garden conservatory or run amok with the kids
  • Shower and bathroom facilities with underfloor heating

'The best campsite we've ever stayed at' is just one of the excellent accolades piled upon the Isle of Wight's The Orchards Holiday Park, where guests feel in firm agreement with The Orchards' assessment of its facilities as 'top-notch'.

Said facilities include shower and wash basin cubicles, a ladies' vanity area, a family shower room and family bathroom, a baby changing room, wheelchair-accessible amenities, a laundry and washing-up area, and a walkers' drying room, all with underfloor heating.

Things are top-notch leisurewise too, with a heated outdoor pool open from late May to early September; an indoor pool open all season (both free), a poolside coffee shop, pool and ping pong tables; a recreation area, and a takeaway food bar. There are two play areas, one for under-fives and one for older kids, as well as a dog exercise area.

The large touring area has marked allocated pitches on terraced or gently sloping paddocks, and takes tents, tourers and motorhomes on grass or hardstanding pitches, all with electric hook-up.

And the views, the location and the atmosphere here all regularly get top billing here as well: The Orchards is a relaxed and friendly park with an amicable and helpful team, placed near Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight's western rural side and coming with first-rate views (this is among the most scenic washing up you'll ever do).
