- A small, peaceful site with a relaxed atmosphere
Bouncers Farm has been home to the Bishop family for three generations. Originally it was a commercial orchard but now there are not many apple trees left but several farm animals consisting of sheep, geese, pigs, chickens and horses to name but a few.
The campsite is set amongst apple trees. With the coast and its many little-known beaches just four miles away, it's an unusual and nourishing escape from the city.
For those who feel like trying something different, how about a pony carriage drive through the country lanes? This can be arranged on site at a small extra cost. With the coast and its many little-known beaches just four miles away and central London an hour away by train, it's an unusual and easy escape.
Bouncers Farm Campsite operates as a low impact environmental site. There is no electricity on site. The shower has a log burning water heater and is very efficient on wood consumption. Cooking is done over open fires (weather permitting).

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can now make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children on one pitch.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
