Beautiful and quiet location. Adequate facilities. Loved the compost toilets.
Showers are a little small and could do with a shelf or some more coathangers to keep ones clothes/towels dry and clean. Also missed a compost bin for vegetable scaps.

Loved the farm visit, feeding the chickens and petting the goats was fab. Lovely walk along the trail that runs through the site. Nice owners. Not excessively over booked like some so plenty of space.

    Disliked:

The composting toilets were very smelly. Unfortunately the washing up area is connected to the toilets so I didn’t really want to wash my dishes there and there is nowhere else to brush your teeth. I recommend investing in flushing toilets....although I appreciate that is less environmentally friendly. Pretty much no phone reception on O2, in the camp ground but OK in the farm area.

Large field with lots of space. Clean facilities and liked extra touches such as bowls, sponges, dish racks and washing liquid provided. Scott and Ruth were lovely and even froze our ice packs so we could take some food home. Feeding he chickens was the highlight for our toddlers.

    Disliked:

Wold be good if fire wood was obtainable to purchase at any time. Maybe an honesty box system so you can get a fire started when you arrive earlier. Shower pressure could do with improvement but was nice and warm.

A little slice of tranquillity hidden away in the East-Sussex countryside. We camped here with two families with young children and they had a great time. You can visit the farm to feed the poultry and visit the other farm animals every morning between 09.00-10.30 which the children loved. You even get a chance to buy the tasty produce from the farm for breakfast, whichwas delicious. The owners are very friendly and easy to contact. Great location and lots of interesting things to do for young families close by. We would highly recommend.

This campsite is in a lovely quiet rural location but within easy walking distance of some great local country pubs. There is a village shop and cafe close by for additional supplies and delicious free range eggs and bacon and sausages are sold onsite from the farm.
The best thing was that there are no set pitches so you can camp how you like. Areas are marked out with firepits and people generally camped around these to make the most of the evenings round the campfire. Fire wood and kindling is sold each evening and orders for eggs, bacon and sausages for breakfast can be made.
The facilities are good with composting toilets lovely warm showers and a well equipped washing up area that were all cleaned on a very regular basis.
Scott and Ruth have a great set-up here if you are looking for a proper old fashioned tent camping holiday but they also cater to those who want a bit more of a glamping experience as there is an adjacent field of bell tents.
We loved our stay and our granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her first camping experience and meeting all the farm animals
