A lovely rural feel. Great we could have an open fire. Owners friendly and helpful. The Gun pub is fantastic. Kids loved the farm and making dens. Compost toilets were fine. Wash up area nice, hot water.

    Disliked:

The showers were fine, water wasn’t that hot. Would of liked a slightly bigger area to get dressed especially with young children. There wasn’t much space to dry and get yourself dressed.
The pitch is quite sloped which meant you woke up in the corner of your tent and the Hubbie shoved me out of bed countless times

The kids loved the farm and being able to run about in the large field. Being able to cook over an open fire and roast marshmallows was also a highlight. There are excellent pubs within a short walk that are family friendly as well.
Although he toilets are compost toilets they are very clean and well maintained.
We did day trips to the beach which is within half an hours drive.

Beautiful rural campsite, complete with 'Shrek' toilets aka compost loos and showers. There is a farm next door where you can visit and feed the animals and a lovely farm shop and cafe down the road within walking distance. Firewood for the pre dug firepits was readily available as well as local produce. Perfect! Really enjoyed it here ☺
