Hello, welcome to Buckhurst Farm! Located near Sedlescombe, we're not far from the sunny seaside town of Hastings, East Sussex. If you fancy some of the peaceful life in the countryside then join us down at the farm where you can enjoy camping, walks and great local food.

We can offer a great list of services and facilities including a refurbished toilet and shower block. As we’re not far from Hastings, you can enjoy all the attractions the town has to offer including the Blue Reef, Smugglers Adventures, Hastings Castle and many more.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

We let a pitch to you with the expectation that you will follow the usual customs of good camping. We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any point of your stay if the behavior of any member of your party is unacceptable to us and no refund of monies will be paid.

Arrival is between 12 midday and 6pm Bank holiday arrival 12 mid day untill 8 pm. If arriving later please advise a member of staff at the campsite.

You must vacate by noon on the day of departure and leave the pitch in a clean and tidy state.

If you wish to pay by cheque, the funds must be cleared at least 7 days before the start of your stay. No refunds will be given unless agreed by staff.

Day visitors are welcome between 10am and 6pm at £2.50 per adult and £1.50 per child. If on site after this time they will be charged a camper's fee.

The contract is with Miss Sam Eldridge, Buckhurst Camping, The Office, Great Buckhurst Farm, Sedlescombe, East Sussex TN33 0SE who will not be liable to any person visiting for any personal injury, fatal or non fatal unless caused by a negligent act or omission by the company or its employees. Buckhurst Camping will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage to any property including, motor vehicles and personal effects, howsoever caused or sustained.

You must pitch as directed by the ground staff, not encroach upon any other pitches and consider fire risk limitation, safety and access. If you pitch outside the boundaries of your pitch or your unit is judged to pose a risk to the safety and comfort of others you will be asked to move.

The speed limit is 5mph. Please drive slowly. This includes bicycles and any other wheeled conveyances. Drivers must hold a licence and have tax and MOT as appropriate. No recreational vehicles such as motorised scooters or quad bikes are allowed.

Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited and the natural conditions are not to be disturbed. This includes tying ropes to, driving nails into trees nor shall they used as fire wood.

Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times; owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
