There are a full seven miles of golden beach and grassy hillocks at Camber Sands in Rye – here, da dunes do run (and run). And with Camber Sands Holiday Park just steps away, there’s no reason Rye you wouldn’t pack your bucket and spade for a week or two in East Sussex…
Directly opposite all this crumbly goodness is Camber Sands Holiday Park, a Park Resorts centre with a fully family-friendly vibe and a heap of activities and entertainment for all ages. After a morning dip or proudly constructing the Best Sandcastle Ever on the beach, clamber back to Camber to dip your toes into one of four heated indoor pools (one each, should you be so inclined) or plunge into the Jacuzzi and sauna, available to the grownups for a small extra charge.
Little people, meanwhile, can monkey around on the multisports field and adventure playground – rather thoughtfully, the latter is beside a decked area so you can supervise the offspring from over the top of your book. Kids also have many daytime activities available for tots to teens: Pipsqueak's Mousehouse is especially for the under-fives, and there’s loads more to pick from whatever your picky little one’s tastes, from ballet to archery to football on the sporty side, and trivia, dances and karaoke for those who prefer to take things a little easier. Crazy golf and go karting are also available on site for an extra fee.
For the evening shift, shift to the Showbar for a regular lineup of music and entertainment from local and visiting acts, karaoke and themed nights; tums are covered from morning to night at the Boathouse restaurant and fish and chip bar with takeaway.
When ambling off site, the local bus service stops right outside the park, and Rye train station is a ten-minute drive away.

It's now possible to make group bookings on Pitchup.com for up to 30 adults and 30 children.
As long as the 'one unit per pitch' rule is not highlighted on the pitch type information (please check this before completing your booking), you will be able to pitch your tents together on one booking.
If you are not satisfied with the results generated, try breaking your booking down for more options. For example, if you're a group of 10, enter five people for your initial search and book two pitches. Use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together when booking multiple pitches or accommodation units: the campsite or park will try to grant your request.
Before booking, please check the listing page for any group restrictions. These normally appear in a section titled 'Please note'. Please also check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit - especially for a large party - is suitable for the space you will be provided with.
