Welcome to Wattle Hill Oast Camp. We are proud to introduce to you our family-run business, which offers a holiday experience full of fun and relaxation for the whole family.
Your holiday starts the moment you park your car. You will have the opportunity to walk past the pond to your country suite or have a short off-road ride in the back of the camp Landy.
Our aim is to offer all of our guests a complete getaway in luxury.
Along with our little acre wood, we have a 13m saltwater swimming pool and a sauna.
The fire pit outside your tent doubles up as a barbecue where you can cook your Wattle Hill Oast sausages and eggs in the morning - all produced on site.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can now make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children on one pitch.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

From M25, take Junction 5 onto the A21 signposted Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Hastings. Continue on the A21 for approximately 25 miles until you pass the sign for brown sign for Bedgebury Pinetum. Continue until you reach the set of traffic lights at Flimwell. Turn left here onto the A268 signposted Hawkhurst. At the next set of traffic lights about three miles down the road, turn right signposted Hastings and Lewes (A229). After approximately one mile turn left onto the B2244 (signposted Bodiam). Follow this road for approximately four miles and then turn left towards Bodiam Castle (the Curlew restaurant is on your right). Follow this road past Bodiam Castle, over the railway crossing and up the hill until you reach the crossroads in Staplecross. Turn right onto the B2165. Follow the road for approximately 200 metres. You will pass a derelict house. Immediately past this is Beacon Lane. Turn left here. Wattle Hill Oast is the first house on the left-hand side. Proceed through the gravel car park and around the back of the timber building where reception is.
Bodiam Castle is five minutes away and has lots going on for adults and children alike. Bedgebury Pinetum is 15 minutes away. You can walk, cycle, picnic or play. For the more serious cyclists there are some great off-road tracks here.
For those that prefer something that floats, Bewl Water has a watersports centre as well as play areas, boat rides and fishing. Or we have Bodiam Ferry which chugs along the River Rother to Bodiam castle and back to Newenden. There are pubs either end so you are spoilt for choice.
The sandy beach of Camber Sands is 25 minutes away. You will pass though Rye historic town on your way which is worth a stop too. There are lots of antique shops through the winding cobble streets. We have Hastings on our doorstep just eight miles away with everything from high street stores and fairground rides to the quirky cafes and one-off shops of the old town. Here you can visit the smugglers' cave, the Sea Life centre or take a ride up in the east hill lift to get a view over to France.
There are so many pubs and restaurants nearby. The Cross Inn is our very local pub which serves food and local ale.
