  • Two miles from the beach at Bexhill-on-Sea
  • Family-friendly site with indoor and outdoor play areas
  • Within easy reach of the historic sites of 1066 Country

Chestnut Meadow is an award-winning family-run site on the outskirts of the seaside town of Bexhill-on-Sea in East Sussex. With a bus stop at the front of the site, it's easy to get around by public transport if you'd like to travel without a car.

The family-friendly site has large pitches, a games hall and a playground. Facilities include a small shop, a launderette, free wifi and a modern, heated shower block. There's also a range of eco-friendly initiatives including recycling points, wildlife areas and use of recycled materials where possible.

The site is in the area known as 1066 Country, and there are plenty of historic sites to explore, including Battle Abbey, Herstmonceux Castle and Bodiam Castle. There are several cycle routes that you can follow to explore these sights, and you can hire bikes in Hastings. The beach at Bexhill-on-Sea is just two miles from the site, and the Sussex coast has several other beaches nearby as well.
