This is a great site with good views over the lake at Keswick and the surrounding hills. The pitches are large and our had water, electric and grey waste. Chip hard standing and pitch was large enough for a Trailer Tent with full Awning and the Camper van to stand side by side. Would recommend it to any one. But if you have bad knees like me get a pitch at the top of the hill. We chose the bottom and because of my knees had to drive to the shop. Not their fault but mine. Next time I will think about how old I am getting :-(. Being ex forces I did not even mind the low flying of aircraft. Hercules, Euro Fighters and Trainers . Flew right over the pitch roughly twice a day. Brilliant

    Disliked:

The restuarant served good food on the first night but I ordrede a steak on the second night and it was 1/3rd Grizzle (not fat) and 2/3rds meat. would not eat in there again. at least not a steak.
