The Old Post Office Campsite is a small family-run campsite situated on the western edge of the Lake District National Park, and was first established in 1951.

Situated in the quiet village of Santon Bridge, the site is bordered on one side by the River Irt - known for its salmon, sea and brown trout (daily and weekly rods are available by arrangement with the owners).

The Old Post Office Campsite provides pitches suitable for camping, motorhomes and touring caravans. There are hardstanding pitches with electric hookups available for either caravans or motorhomes. Grass pitches are mainly level and are available for tents and motorhomes. Some pitches are served with electric hookup. Many pitches are situated overlooking the very pretty River Irt.

The campsite has a limited number of undercover spaces for the storage of touring caravans.
