For the true wild camper wanting to experience the Yorkshire made famous by the Brontë sisters, Stones Cottage Farm is in the heart of Brontë moorland around Haworth. The weather can be harsh and unpredictable which makes this an ideal location for the adventurous type wanting to experience life free from modern comforts (except for a flushing toilet of course).

We are a working free-range farm with free roaming sheep, hens, people-friendly geese, ducks, peacock and guinea fowl. Make sure to close your tent when not there or you may find a squatter when you get back.

Bikers and cyclists welcome with a bike lock-up onsite.

Please note that this is wild camping 100ft above sea level so please check the weather forecast and bring the right equipment. We have an onsite storm shelter if the weather gets really wild, but those who enjoy our site most are the ones who come prepared for a wild and adventurous camping experience.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the Pitchup.com terms and conditions.

Due to free-roaming livestock we have a strict no dogs policy.

No trailer tents, gazebos or pup tents are allowed.

Everyone is welcome as long as they respect the countryside, other campers and local residents. This means picking up and removing your litter from the site, being sensible when tipsy after a night at the pub, no trespassing on adjacent private land and generally act respectfully in the vicinity of others or their children.

Please note that this is wild camping 100 ft above sea level so please check the weather forecast and bring the right equipment. We have an onsite storm shelter if the weather gets really wild.
