For the true wild camper wanting to experience the Yorkshire made famous by the Brontë sisters, Stones Cottage Farm is in the heart of Brontë moorland around Haworth. The weather can be harsh and unpredictable which makes this an ideal location for the adventurous type wanting to experience life free from modern comforts (except for a flushing toilet of course).
We are a working free-range farm with free roaming sheep, hens, people-friendly geese, ducks, peacock and guinea fowl. Make sure to close your tent when not there or you may find a squatter when you get back.
Bikers and cyclists welcome with a bike lock-up onsite.
Please note that this is wild camping 100ft above sea level so please check the weather forecast and bring the right equipment. We have an onsite storm shelter if the weather gets really wild, but those who enjoy our site most are the ones who come prepared for a wild and adventurous camping experience.

Satnav will most likely take you to Oxenhope Cemetery; we are the second drive down the hill from there.
If coming from the east (Haworth side) we are on the outskirts of Oxenhope village about 800 yards past St Mary's church and the 'S' bends. We are second on the right after the 40mph speed signpost. If coming from the west (Hebden Bridge side) then we are second on the left past the cemetery.
Our farm house and the cottage look like a row of three cottages ending right on the roadside.
Also look out for signs for the Rainbow Egg Company or eggs for sale. They will take you straight to our farm.
