Beautiful setting and great location. It was only a short walk to the lovely village of Austwick and pub! Grounds were well looked after as where the facilities. The owner was really helpful but left you to it which was good.

    Disliked:

I really think the amount of people allowed on site could do with being reconsidered. It was crammed in. And I guess most people who go camping are trying to escape the hustle and bustle of normal life. That was the only down side though, which is a shame.

Was a little more expensive to book using Pitchup but the deposit in advance and rest on arrival was a good way of booking without having to pay in full upfront.

Well maintained site. Very clean and tidy. Modern wash block which is well looked after. Friendly staff on site. Stunning location.

    Disliked:

Too many tents squashed in together. We were there on a busy weekend with lovely weather which meant the site was busy and lively. With so many tents squashed in this meant there was a lot of noise travelling around the site at night and early morning. We are a relaxed enough group of friends so it didn't concern us massively but as a young family you may it a problem. Not much open space for kids to play.
Shouldn't have to pay 50p for a shower. If this is insisted should change to pay machine to accept change and not just 50 pence piece.

Lovely views from the campsite, and the gentleman who runs it was very easy to speak to and reasonable.
The best showers we have ever seen at a campsite.
