General

On Saturday 5th July the Tour de France, the world’s greatest cycle race, will be passing the main entrance of Lightwater Valley Theme Park. We are very excited to announce that from Thursday 3rd July until Wednesday 9th July we will be hosting our very own Big Yellow Campsite. The theme park is perfectly placed to offer you an amazing view of the race and get you up close to the action.

Please note that as the Tour de France will be passing the main entrance to our site on Saturday 5th July, road closures will be in place. We will therefore not be admitting visitors to the campsite on the Saturday 5th July. All visitors must be onsite by Friday 4th July.

You will be issued with a wristband that will allow you free entry into the theme park on any day during your stay, except Saturday 5th July, when the theme park will be closed.

Lightwater Valley will provide toilets and showers for your convenience but we recommend that you bring your own toilet roll.

Pitch must be vacated before 6pm on day of departure.

You will need to bring your booking confirmation to gain access to the site.
