It’s stating the obvious, really. A piece of Yorkshire that’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and which has walks, history and views galore. And dales and moors, for moody stomping about with windswept hair…No, not Heathcliff this time but Heathfield Caravan Park, set in an unspoilt wooded valley in Upper Nidderdale in the Yorkshire Dales, right on the Nidderdale Way for hiking, biking or cantering along on horseback.
Heathfield Caravan Park is family owned and managed and has pitches with or without electric hook-up, with the showers, loos and other facilities kept spotlessly clean. The pitches come in different sizes to take almost any size of tourers or motorhomes, and most have water at the side of the pitch or within a walkable distance to fill the kettle for a morning cuppa; there’s a shop on site too for stocking up on essentials. To fill up off site, there are two pubs at Pateley Bridge half a mile away.
