Stansfield Hall Lake and Woodlands is an unspoilt piece of Suffolk countryside which is also a working farm.

We offer a variety of accommodation including a log pod and a hut, as well as a few pitches dotted around the farm in areas that give you plenty of privacy.

Next to the farm, Stansfield Compasses pub has 'proper' toilets which are available at all times when the pub is open.

The farm has lots going on: over 60 types of birds have been identified here and we have badgers, deer (muntjac and roe), toads, frogs, newts, water voles, dragonflies and some huge carp in and around the lake.

In each unit there is a welcome pack listing local walks and places of interest.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Additional terms
We are a working farm and village community, so please be respectful of the land, animals and locals.

We believe this site is perfect for those who want some peace and quiet and to get back to nature. Therefore we aren't full of rules and regulations, we just expect everyone (us included!) to be respectful and reasonable with each other.

The following activities and terms apply solely to log pod guests: fishing is charged at a rate of £15 per day per rod. You must have your own rod licence. There is no swimming or boating allowed in the lake at any time. Be aware there are no safety rails around the lake, so caution must be taken at all times, particularly with those who are unsteady on their feet.
