Beach View Holiday Park is a family-owned holiday park with an established touring and camping site, with pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. We are right beside the beach between Aldeburgh and Minsmere Dunwich: our beach view is your perfect base for exploring the Suffolk coast.
The campsite was originally established in the 1950s and is adjacent to the beach, on an open, level field with touring caravan and camping pitches. It's just a short walk down to the beach via the coastal footpath. We are an ideal base for birdwatchers and walkers. Sea fishing from the beach is also popular.
We have comprehensive facilities including a heated toilet and shower block, laundry room, and a dedicated disabled access toilet and shower room. Guests can use our clubhouse bar during summer for snacks and refreshments from Thursdays to Sundays and our family games room is also available for you to use.
Beach View Holiday Park is right on the Suffolk coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There are many popular coastal villages and towns to explore including Southwold with its lighthouse and popular pier. Southwold is also home to the famous Adnams Brewery. Aldeburgh, once a small fishing village, developed into a busy Victorian costal resort; today Aldeburgh is a popular seaside retreat for artists, musicians and families looking to escape city life. Thorpeness is a popular coastal village with a beautiful Victorian mere: hire out a rowing boat, canoe or sail boat to explore the little islands.
Minsmere has an RSPB Nature Reserve where you can explore the nature trails, stop at the viewing areas or bird hides and see wading birds and wildlife in their natural habitat. Also close by, Dunwich Heath is a popular choice for walkers and hikers.
Leiston Leisure Centre, Long Shop Steam Museum and Leiston cinema are all within two miles of the park and there is a Waitrose supermarket and a Tesco supermarket just five miles away at Saxmundham.
