No where to park on arrival. Need parking bays.
Toilets cleaned regularity but there were still lots of muddy showers and toilets. Maybe supply a mop and bucket for people to clean up after themselves.

Great campsite for families and dog-lovers. 15/08/2017

Close proximity of pitches was good for getting to know people - we gave up part of our pitch to accommodate a delightful traveller family with their 10 children/grandchildren and 35 foot awning.
Dog friendly site - many dogs on site, all well behaved, if a little exuberant at night.
Excellent bar/restaurant - Stella and Carlsberg and a good selection of my favourite alcopops available and food very reasonable at 3 or 4 pounds a meal.
The evening talent shows, discos and activities in the bar were great for the kids,.
Toilets cleaned at least once a fortnight so decent cleanliness.

    Disliked:

Had to wait about an hour after checking in to be shown to our pitch but staff member was very apologetic and I was very grateful for the assistance in guiding us the 100 yards to it - would never have found it on my own had they given me directions.

The atmosphere was great, the entertainment was fun, the boys loved the pools. We were close to the facilities and the staff were really helpful and friendly

    Disliked:

We had to move our tent forward out of our pitch slightly due to large puddle build up, and the facilities could be updated with a more vigorous cleaning schedule.

Great evening entertainment for the kids and park amenities. Not far from things to do like Great Yarmouth and other nice beaches. Nice quiet location and friendly staff. Outdoor pool and slide was nicely heated.

    Disliked:

Toilets/shower block could have been cleaned more often but more to do with other people using them and not cleaning up after themselves!

    Swimming pools.
Camp caretakers ( very helpfull and friendly).

    Disliked:

Bouncers on the clubhouse I've been to night clubs with less bouncers.
Food and Drink on the expensive side in the clubhouse as was the laundry facilities.
Camp was too big and inpersonal.
My pitch outside the door of the toilets and washrooms - A bit much and insensitive of the staff to put people so close to the latrines.

Local attractions

Great Yarmouth, a short drive away, has masses of fun attractions - too many to list here, but to give you an idea: the Sea Life aquarium, the exhilarating indoor circuit at Karting 2000, mini choo-choos and tiny townsfolk at Merrivale Model Village and Gardens, and the Elizabeth House Museum, where visitors can don Tudor fashions and find out what life was really like below stairs for Victorian scullery maids.

There are more than 50 acres of adrenaline rides, plus parrot and sea lion shows and an Alpine chair lift at Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft.

For those seeking more genteel pursuits, also near Lowestoft is Somerleyton Hall, a Tudor-Jacobean pile with pleasure gardens and a maze, home to the Crossley Carpets dynasty.

Drive a little further and you can explore the beaut wetlands and waterways of the Norfolk Broads, or head south to gorgeous Southwold and Aldeburgh in Suffolk.
