Campsites in Cromer, Norfolk

30 bookable campsites within 15 miles of Cromer Sorted by distance

Come camping in Cromer. We could emphatically add ‘That is all’, but natch we’d be doing it a disservice by not mentioning all the things we heart about this excellent East Anglia coastal town. Part of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and about 25 miles from Norwich (ah ha!), Cromer has been hearted by beachgoers, fisher folk and coast connoisseurs since Victorian times. And it’s still known for its royally tasty crab: get your claws into a Cromer crab sarnie or salad in any number of establishments to scuttle to around town.

Both the Norfolk Coast Path (45 miles, going to Hunstanton) and the Weavers Way (90 miles, to Great Yarmouth) end up in Cromer; have several more crab sarnies for each section managed. We also heart Cromer’s two award-winning beaches, its pier started in Good Queen Vicky’s time (now including the Pavilion Theatre) and its Victorian architecture: one could almost imagine one is among the pages of Jane Austen.

From a Cromer campsite, hop on the Coasthopper bus in town to ride along the coast to King’s Lynn via other Norfolk seaside towns including Sheringham, Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham and Hunstanton: we very much heart the views you’ll see from the window too.
