Not enough parking space even though we were told not to park on the grass.
Had to move the tent 3 times as we couldn't get the pegs in.
4 couples nxt to us all with kids. Not peaceful at all. I have a 6 yr old boy but I wouldn't allow him to run around other ppl tents!.

Proximity to Alton Towers, as this was the purpose of our weekend visit. Warm welcome when we arrived.

    Disliked:

The toilet block and showers seemed very dated and toilet floors were constantly wet and muddy as there were no floor mats to wipe your feet. Doors left propped open to all of these facilities at all times meant a lot of spiderwebs , dust and bugs in general which the kids weren't too happy with when it came to showering! Lighting also required on approach to toilet block as pitch black at night and quite a walk from some Tent pitches. Play area approx 15 minute walk from our pitch due to having to walk around cliff edge.

Location, facilities, on a lovely walking trail and in woodland.

    Disliked:

We camped in pitch 6 and it's quite a walk to the toilet block especially in the night. A family of teenagers and their parents shouting for most of the night and swearing ie no one regulating the rule of silence after 11am.

    Nice clean site

    Disliked:

Walk way to toilets should have lighting due to pitch black at night. The ground is solid due to old quarry with 2" of soil on top tent pegs bent when knocking in so pegs put in on an angle. A family next to us borrowed us some steel hard ground pegs to hold main ropes of the tent .
