General

Black Hall Wigwams, is a family run site located on the welsh boarder. We have 6 wigwams and a luxury communal block with a kitchen and a bathroom for male and female. Our wigwams have a fridge and kettle and a fire pit outside, for the use of a BBQ and campfire. The kitchen block is equipped with 2 x cooker, 2 x microwave, 2 x toaster, 1 x freezer and some kitchen crockery. However we suggest you bring your own crockery incase there isn't enough for all our guests.
Onsite we also have a leisure building, this contains a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, games room and exercise suite. The use of these facilities are at a charge of £15 per day per wigwam, this can be bought at reception on check in. Wifi is also available in your wigwam and the surrounding areas. Charges apply.

As we have been experiencing a number of guests using sat nav who have been getting lost due to our postcode we have now created a set of directions which will allow you to reach Black Hall stress free!
• Enter the postcode LD7 1EN into your sat nav
• This will bring you to the offa's dyke centre in Knighton! When you have reached this destination please TURN OFF your sat nav!
• Carry on past the offa's dyke centre on your right for 200 yards!
• Take the first turning right, signposted Beguildy/ Newtown (B4355)
• Carry on this road for 4 miles until you reach Lloyney! Carry on until you see the pub Lloyney Inn on the left! Turn directly opposite following the brown tourist signs to Black Hall!

Please note it is crucial you turn off your sat nav in Knighton.

Important / Useful Information
Whats in your Wigwam
Your wigwam has 5 bed spaces, we DO NOT provide any bedding. Your wigwam also has a kettle, fridge and a coffee table.

Whats in the communal block
Our communal block has two sets of bathrooms, male and female. In each we have 3 showers and 3 toilets. We also have a communal kitchen, this has a freezer, TV, 2 x microwaves 2 x cooker 2 x kettle and 2 x toaster. We have provided some kitchen crockery and utensils. However this is not a set amount for each wigwam. Therefore we suggest you bring your own kitchen utensils etc.

Multiple Wigwam Bookings
If you are a multiple wigwam booking we ask you to keep the noise levels to a minimum after 10pm so that you do not disturb other guests. If you wish to move the benches and fire pits please ensure they are all in the correct position before your departure.

The Reception opening hours are:
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday – 9am – 10:30am & 4pm – 5pm
Sunday – Closed

The opening times of the leisure complex are 9am – 8pm 7 days a week (10am opening on occasions such as maintenance)

We ask all persons under the age of 18 not to use our leisure complex unless accompanied by an adult. This is for health and safety purposes.

Our park is situated on a farm in a rural area, therefore it is essential to your holiday that you have a car or a method of transport.

You will only have limited “Orange” network signal at Black Hall, however we have a payphone on site if you are unable to find signal.

We have WIFI in the wigwams, the charges are per device: £20 for week, £15 for 4 days, £5 for a day.This can be purchased at reception

Swim Passes
To be able to use our leisure complex you will need to purchase a swim pass. These are sold at £15.00 per wigwam per wigwam for the first day and £10 for any additional days. For guests staying only one night the cost of a swim pass is £10. You can pre-order your swim pass before your arrival or purchase one from reception. If you are using the leisure building without a swim pass you will be asked to leave. Please note you will not be able to purchase a swim pass on a Sunday.

Electric
The electric in your wigwam is run via a meter. This meter is operated by a £1 card token. £1 will last approx. 24 hours, depending on the electric being used e.g Heater. If you are planning on arriving after 5pm please ensure you pre-order electric.

Logs/Sticks/Charcoal
Outside your wigwam you have a fire pit. This can be used as a BBQ or a fire pit. We have available to purchase logs, sticks and charcoal (Charcoal is subject to availability) If you are planning on arriving after 5pm you can pre-order these items or you can place your order at reception upon arrival.
Logs: £5 per bucket Sticks: £1 per bundle Charcoal: £3 per bag

Requests
Any requests you may have during your stay, (e.g logs, sticks, wifi, dvd’s) Can be purchased by filling in a request form (found on the desk in the leisure building) and placing this in the letterbox outside front doors of the leisure building. This will then ONLY be delivered at 5pm. Any requests made after this time will be delivered at a convenient time the following day.

Visitors
If you wish to have visitors during your stay at Black Hall please inform a member of staff upon your arrival, this allows us to monitor the vehicles around our site. Please note we are not covered by insurance for these guests to use the leisure facilities.

Departure
Your holiday ends at 10am on the day of your departure. This includes the use of our communal block and our leisure facilities. Please note if you have bought a swim pass please ensure you do not use the leisure building after 10am.
