The village of Moulton is four miles away, with its 800 year old church and a windmill which is in the process of being restored with new sales. This is open to the public, has tea rooms and has been featured on television.

The Spalding water taxi is a relaxing 30 minute cruise taking you from Spalding town centre to the Springfield’s shopping centre and back.

The Springfield’s Shopping Outlet is about 10 minutes from the campsite, which has restaurants and pubs, an indoor play area for children, as well as the bargain price shops.

Springfield's Gardens has 25 acres of beautiful gardens well worth a visit, a mini golf course, a spectacular fountain display, which is held several times per day in time with music (check with their web page for details).

Ayscoughfee Hall Museum is set in a Medieval Hall dating back to around 1451. This fascinating grade II* listed building includes exhibitions, displays and educational opportunities for all to enjoy. The formal gardens beautifully complement the Hall, and feature a Yew Tree walk dating back to the 1720s. The Ornamental Lake is headed by a War Memorial designed by the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, while hidden to the rear of the gardens is the Ice House which originally served the Hall's kitchens.

The tropical butterfly house is not far from the campsite and is a good day out for the all the family, especially young children. It includes birds of prey displays, a playground and tea room as well as other animals.
