Lovely site. Very clean and well kept. The owners are very helpful and friendly and the layout of the site is great. good room between pitches and all the pitches have a great veiws of the lake.

only think i would change, is to add a couple more WCs with sinks next to them to give you a private space. Helps us shy people :). Our dog Patch, had a great time as its only 20-30 min drive to the beach

From the manager...

Hello David & Lorraine,
Thank you for your kind review and for taking the time to write it. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and hope you visit again. We take on board what you have said about having cubicles with toilet/shower/sink combined and is something we will consider for the future. Our toilet/shower block for the Seasonal & Camping Pod customers are like that.

Kind regards, Tracy & Neil

Well what can I say that's not already been said. What a brilliant site this is. Got a lovely welcome from Tracy on our arrival. Set up was easy because the pitches were large and very level and that is always a bonus.
Had four day stay at Grooby's Pit and loved everyday. Excellent location for getting out and seeing the surrounding area. Can recommend a trip out to Lincoln City if you have the time.
Thanks Tracy and Neil your hard work pays off with a spotless shower block and the grounds kept in a excellent condition. The shower and washing facilities are the best I have used.
I am not much of a review writer but this site is definitely well worth a visit and would recommend it to anyone who wants total peace and relaxation.
Will definitely make a return visit.

    Absolutely lovely site.
Flat, easy to drive in and move around. Each pitch gravelled. Own water tap and electric hook-up.
Wonderfully quiet - adults only, I presume because of the lake.
Spotlessly clean and warm toilets and showers.
    Very welcoming host.
Handy for the coast. Brilliant for star-gazers.
    Loved the ducks and geese!

    Disliked:

    Nothing!
Only slight, possible issue - for those rare individuals like myself with a particular medical condition involving internal re-plumbing, it would be useful to have one toilet cubicle that has a hand basin included. But this is luxury......

From the manager...

Hello Fiona & Richard,

Thank you for your wonderful review & taking the time to write it. We really do appreciate it. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us.
The new toilet/shower block that the camping pod & seasonal customers use is all in one, like the one you wish for ... It is something to think about for future toilet/shower block for touring customers :)

Would recommend this site to the mature couple as its very quiet set in a lovely area around the fishing lakes and its for adults only. Differently worth another visit later on in the year, could not fault anything about this place gets a 100/100 from us.
