- Peaceful and smart park over 15 acres
- At Chapel St Leonards and within walking distance of the beach
- Three fishing ponds across the road and pub next door
Ah, how we love Skegness. And Mablethorpe. And Chapel St Leonards, and Ingoldmells…it’s a fairly safe bet to say we’re rather fond of the Lincolnshire coast as a whole – and we haven’t even got to the Lincolnshire Wolds yet.
Quiet pitches near beaches are on many campers’ coastal checklists as well as seaside towns: if this is true for you, tick off your requirements at peaceful and pretty Eastview Caravan Park, on the edge of Chapel St Leonards village and within walking distance of the beach. It’s a smart and friendly 15-acre park which welcomes families, motorcyclists and the family dog: we suspect you might like the three fishing ponds across the road or the pub next door too.
Eastview has clean and well-maintained heated shower and loo blocks with free hot showers and disabled access; waste disposal points and service points. There’s no shop on site, but Chapel St Leonards is a few minutes’ drive away for supermarkets, cafés, pubs and restaurants.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Coming from the south or north:
Follow the directions for Chapel St. Leonards. The campsite is on Trunch Lane just off the A52. The entrance is next to the Kings Oak Pub.
Walk to the town and beaches of Chapel St Leonards or take the bus or car to Skegness to start your hol off swimmingly: both have easily enough attractions for a full day trip, as do nearby Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea and Cleethorpes, all within easy driving distance.
Secondhand shoppers and bargain hunters will be in heaven too: nearby Ingoldmells has the biggest indoor market in Europe, and there are regular car boot sales here and at Chapel St Leonards, Skegness, Winthorpe and Addlethorpe.
Skeggy is stuffed with sights, attractions and activities: the Embassy Theatre on the seafront, Tower Gardens and the wild river flume and rides of the Skegness Pleasure Beach.
The popular Natureland Seal Sanctuary is at Skegness too; to see more of these Lincolnshire inhabitants, head to the Donna Nook nature reserve or to another seal sanctuary at Mablethorpe, which also has time tunnels to the dinosaurs and other beastly locals including barn owls and badgers.
The Gibraltar Point nature reserve just outside Skegness is another top spot to see the local wildlife and soaring seabirds, or head inland to walk or bike the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty Lincolnshire Wolds, the highest eastern England area of land between Yorkshire and Kent and with the Red Hills Nature Reserve to the north.
There’s plenty more to do in the Wolds whatever floats your boat: the long-distance path The Viking Way cuts across the Wolds on its way from Barton-upon-Humber to Rutland, or you could take a steamy trip on the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, or for bikers, ride along the roads and roar at the races of Cadwell Park.
Shoppers and sightseers can meander around the several popular market towns on the edge of the Wolds, including Louth, ‘the capital of the Wolds’; Alford, famed for its pottery; and Horncastle, to pick up antiques.
Elsewhere, a trip to lovely Lincoln should be on the cards for its cathedral (take a rooftop tour to see the town spread out below), the Norman castle, museums and galleries. There are guided walking tours around the Cathedral Quarter, or take a boat trip or hire a bike from Brayford Waterfront.
