Liked: As you enter there is a security bar next to reception then modern toilet shower block that serves around 40 pitches which are well maintained pitches. older toilet block serves grass field and seasonal caravans which I expect would get busy as only 2 toilets and 3 showers ( these are cleaned twice daily ). Very peaceful site with a cut through to Golden Palm Site near to a few pubs. 20 min walk down Trunch Lane ( lots of pubs and holiday shops )to beautiful sandy beach which goes on for miles - 40 mins walk right will take you to Ingoldmels 40 mins walk left will take you to the seaside town of Chapel St Leonard’s ( visit the Admiral Benbow pub on the beach you sit in a boat looking at the sea Cash only )
Disliked: We booked hard standing only to be informed on route that there were none available so would have to have a grass pitch which we didn’t want due to all the previous rain - we were offered a late check out which we didn’t want as had plans - and weren’t refunded the difference There are lots of pubs close by but no quality eating pubs or restaurants or food shops - we walked to the Trafalger Inn ( 35 mins along the beach ) and food excellent there also a very small Coop in Chapel

We can only apologies with the mix up on the booking but we did not receive the reservation until your day of arrival as our office was closed for the evening when the booking came through. If you book on our own website or by phone it instantly goes onto our system and a pitch is selected. When booked via third party sites they can only be entered onto our system during office hours which is why they cannot be booked on arrival day. I'm afraid we could not refund the £6.00, however, should you decide to stay with us again it can be used as a credit towards the booking. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We would once again like to offer our sincere apologies and hope that having a grass pitch did not spoil your visit to much. Kind regards, Lisa Bookings Team

Liked: Great site lovely sized pitches with water and electric hook up , toilet block spotless and the site was lovely and quiet for March, loads of shops and restaurants near by walking distance we had a fantastic 2 night stay will definitely be returning
