Bluebell non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Very well kept site, warm welcome and perfect pitch allocated for a restful night overlooking the valley. Easy access to walks in the forest. Perfect dark sky spot which coincided with late Perseid meteor shower, I managed to see several ‘shooting stars’. Good size grass pitch for tents, fantastic views.

Bluebell non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: A lovely site, well located for our Forest of Dean walks. The terraced site has splendid views, with hedges bordering the different camping areas. Each (decent sized) pitch is numbered and the area clearly defined; however, we given a choice of four to choose from. The management team were welcoming and informative. The showers, toilets and kitchen areas were always spotlessly clean and tidy. We made use of the available freezer. We were duly informed, upon arrival, that Wi-Fi was not available at the far end of the site.
Disliked: Sadly the 'Dog Exercise Area' was full of sheep and their "droppings", obviously out of bounds to our large Labrador. The hot water for showers and washing-up was not always available.

Liked: What a wonderful site. Level pitch on Beech Row and amazing views. Secure dog walk. Clean facilities. Access to the Forest. The Bailey Inn was an easy walk down the lane, drinks and cash only. The Rising Sun a short cycle away and a great roast with live music on a Sunday. Amazing events centre on site which would be great for group hire. Didn't use Wi-Fi.

Liked: Really lovely site - had a great weekend. The site owners were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the forest which is beautiful. We walked to the Nags Head pub which was great for a pint and cob from the bar. We will definitely be back.
