Welcome to Cholsey Farm. An ideal location for your holiday in the beautiful Chilterns hills. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and we are a small family farm of 200 acres.

There is fabulous walking, mountain biking and riding on the doorstep. Explore local villages where TV Series and films such as the The Vicar of Dibley, Midsomer Murders, Goodnight Mr Tom and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang were filmed. Visit local landmarks such as The River and Rowing Museum, Cliveden and Waddesdon country houses and Bekonskot and Legoland for the youngsters. Local towns such as Henley-on-Thames and Marlow provide lots of interest and walks alongside the River Thames.

Oxford and Reading are both within 30 minutes and West London and is just 40 minutes away.

There are also plenty of lovely local pubs and restaurants to visit.

We are just 5 minutes from Junction 5 of the M40. We are close to Henley-on-Thames, Marlow, Oxford and the lovely villages of Hambleden, Fingest and Turville. From M40 J5 take the IBSTONE road. In village turn LEFT at the red phone box. The farm is signed 'Cholsey Grange'. Please ensure you BOOK ahead.

Additional terms

This is a lovely rural location. There are sheep and hens near the site, and we like to keep them alive, so please keep any dogs under full control.

All bookings are accepted on the following conditions:

All bookings once confirmed must be paid in full by cash or cheque we may ask for this in advance. (Also see below)

We DO NOT accept credit cards or debit cards.

Cheques can only be accepted when accompanied with a bank guarantee card/switch card.

All drivers please note: do not exceed the site speed limit of 5 mph which is equivalent to walking pace!This includes cyclists.

Sorry but we cannot accommodate Supersize RV's (30+ feet long x 12+ feet high).

If using an electrical hook-up make sure all your equipment is to a good standard and suitable for use. The Caravan Club make recommendations and we ask you to familiarise yourself with these prior top connecting into our system.

Camp fires, barbecues and camping stoves are allowed but please observe the following conditions:

Be aware of children and supervise your Fire / BBQ at ALL TIMES UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY OUT AND COLD.

Rabbits and other wild animals are present locally and also on site. Rabbit holes, undulations, and sharp objects may be present so please be careful when walking around the site. Do not walk bare footed and use a good torch at all times at night.

No liability whatsoever shall be attached to the management in the event of: (a) Death, injury howsoever caused, illness, inconvenience or any other misadventure. (b) Loss of or any damage to or theft of property including motor vehicles, boats tents, and caravans.
