Great support from the people in the Inn and they made our stay very enjoyable. Also had a great meal at a very fair price. I thoroughly recommend the Inn to people and I will come back in the future.

Only downside was that there was only one toilet and shower

Having read a previous review that said don't choose the pitch under the tree if it's raining because the drips it creates are like Japanese water torture as they land on your roof, we made a specific point of checking the weather forecast as we pulled up. No rain forecast until 11am the next day, so as this under-tree pitch is one of the 2 large ones, we chose that one.

All was well until 4am, when light drizzle started....but that's all it needed!! No sound of rain but I can confirm that the incessant drips even drizzle creates, are just like Japanese water torture. Fortunately, there was another vacant pitch, so we unhooked and moved pitches as quietly as we could!! (If you were there that night, sorry if we woke you!) Bliss. Straight back to sleep.
Do not park under the tree unless you can be certain it's going to be totally dry overnight! You have been warned.

I would add that there is some noise from the road, but it didn't both us.

Lovely site. Beautifully clean and well maintained. Staff in pub were so friendly and helpful. Lovely walks for our dogs.

Check in at the pub was very easy, we were shown to our pitch and where the facilities were. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We travelled with our 4 month old puppy and because I was worried about her barking in the pub we asked if they would be able to do takeaway food for us which they were more than happy to do. There is a shower room with toilet which we didn't use as we have a self contained vehicle but it looked well maintained. We did however use the ehu for our pitch, the fresh water tap to fill our van, grey waste drain and elsan point.

Good, clean and well spaced site. Wonderful welcome from pub manager (?). Peaceful location but still only ten mins drive from all the facilities of Cirencester. Great bonus to be next door to the Thames Head pub. Lovely staff. Lovely food.

People leaving dog mess on the site. Not a reflection on the management of the site. Just careless and irresponsible dog owners! Such a shame 🙁

Small campsite. No big groups.
Nice and spacious pitches, and felt there was plenty of space between pitches.
Location was perfect for us to explore various places around the Cotswolds (between Cirencester and Tetbury). We also liked being able to walk our dog straight from the campsite. The source of the Thames is only 10/15 minute walk across the fields (go over the trainline). We mooched across there most days and saw deer, red kites and hares.
Washroom facilities were fine; yes there is only one shower / WC, but the campsite is small enough to accommodate. The shower was fantastic; very hot and powerful.
Being on the site of the pub was fantastic - I cannot recommend the food enough. Great value for money, fab quality and the service from all the staff was top notch.
The accommodation on site was also good; we had family stay in Room 4 for a couple of nights, whilst we camped on site, and their room was lovely. Very cosy, and comfortable, with everything you could ask for. And the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and tea / coffee replenished.

There is no getting away from the fact that this site is on a main road. The pitches on the road side are noisier, so if you are a light sleeper or in a tent / campervan, then this might affect you more. We were in a caravan, plus we always travel with earplugs whilst camping, so it didn't really affect us but I can understand the comments from other travellers about this. The worst of the road noise was during rush hour Monday to Friday.
It's worth noting that the trainline is pretty close too. Plus Cotswold Airport / Kemble airfield are not far way; it really was Planes, Trains & Automobiles!
No wifi on site (but good in the accommodation rooms and pub).
