A really lovely little campsite. Friendly atmosphere. Great for the kids! They even had some toys the campsite kids could all play with!! A closed off field too so you can play ball games etc. The kids loved all the animals and the owners were great at letting the kids feed them. My son fell in love with the dog- pip!
Facilities are only small (1 shower room with toilet/ 1 toilet) and a potwash area- all indoors. But with it being a smallish site that really was enough. I never had to wait to use the toilets or anything! They were always clean and tidy too. You can get firewood etc on site which was great we enjoyed a lovely campfire.
Only a 5 minute drive from the Ice-cream farm. We plan on bisiting The crocky trail and bewilderwood on our next visits which are also close by!
We will definitely be returning!!

large and open flat field surrounded by lovely countryside. Handy for canal walks and quiet country lane cycling. Very friendly welcome, Tracy could not do enough for us and the dog, well, pip is an absolute charmer.

I need to say a big personal thank you to this lady as well for she took me to A&E when I had a crash on my bicycle. Thank you so much!

This was a great space for our first ever camping trip as a family of three (and dogs!)
It was really relaxed, great facilities, easy to find, and our 3 year old loved being able to feed the lambs.

Colin and Tracey were excellent hosts and couldn't help more. The site was clean, the pitches are nice and flat and the area is lovely and scenic. The animals are a great source of entertainment for the kids but nice for the adults too. Free range fresh eggs also a bonus.

Super family friendly, children were allowed to bottle feed the lambs and stroke the animals, small safe site and clean facilities.

Only one shower but for the size of the site it wasn't really a problem

Swallow farm was so lovely, my 2 boys loved it... they are 10 and 7.... Colin and Tracey who run the farm were really lovely and welcoming...the toilets and shower were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for our little dog too. 🐕 will stay again for sure.

Everything, this site is a gem. Tracey and Colin are brilliant they were so friendly and helpful. The site is quiet, clean and the location is great.

There was nothing to dislike at all.

The owners, Tracy and Colin, were the friendliest campsite owners we have ever met! We were met with a warm welcome and a cuppa.

The site is a small, peaceful sun trap with different farm animals surrounding the pitches. You can bring your car in to set up and then it has to be parked in the car park. The site is gated so children can’t easily wander off. There is a play field for ball games which is enclosed too.

The site has two loos, a shower and a pot wash. All were very clean.

Campfires are allowed and you can borrow a fire pit. Logs and sticks are available to buy too from the site. It’s a lovely atmosphere, most campers had a campfire going in the evening.

The children can get “involved” with the animals if they want to. There were lambs when we visited so they bottle fed them, played ball with the dog, brushed the pony, fed the alpacas, sheep, goats and chickens too. The kids had an amazing time, they loved every minute. Because it’s relatively small the children all tend to play together too, so they had some fun evenings playing hide and seek and tag!

Fresh eggs are available to buy. The cockerel is quite civilised, he didn’t usually cockadoodle until after 8 🙂

There’s lots to do from the campsite too so plenty of places to visit.

We had one of our best camping trips here, we definitely recommend 👍

Nothing to like as we did not get to go

The campsite phoned us 4 days before we were supposed to go cancelling our trip saying the site was waterlogged. No fault of theirs however we have lost our deposit through no fault of ours. They close by September and we had no availability before then to reschedule. The site offered us to use their car park for the weekend,we kindly declined that suggestion Awaiting balance of trip by posted check as they did not know how to refund us on their system !

We had the most friendly welcome, it felt like we were staying with friends. Tracy and Colin are both really lovely. They met us on arrival and asked if our little girl would like to help feed the lambs, which was such a lovely way to start our visit. There were also very friendly Alpacas and goats which she fed the following morning too. The site was lovely, calm and peaceful, toys are available for the children and the facilities were sparkling clean. Tracy even offered us a brew on arrival, such a lovely gesture. We had a lovely stay, wish we were staying for longer and would highly recommend! Many thanks to you both!
