The site was well maintained. The shower/toilet block was modern and clean. There were two showers for men and two for ladies which was more than adequate as site only half full. It is within easy walking distance of Sutton Hoo which was where we wanted to go. The owners were available to talk to, with the number on the board, as I had a query when I arrived. Names and pitch numbers were also marked on a board for easy identification.

Just about everything! Spacious, flat pitch with hedges to the side and trees behind; free Wi-Fi; clean and pleasant loos and showers; use of fridge and freezer; easy booking in system; friendly, helpful but unobtrusive owners; dog-walking field; central point for exploring; May blossom...

Road noise...couldn't imagine why there was such traffic!!! It didn't spoil the holiday, but it was a shame.

This is my 3rd time to Sutton Hoo site. It is super clean, super rural and quiet and a great base to explore Suffolk in all directions.
A sunny place to stay, owners always helpful if you need them but not intrusive.

Lovely spacious site with generous pitches. The toilet and shower blocks were always clean. The site is in a great location with short drives to lots in the area. Would recommend.

We could hear the road which was a bit of a bother but only because we’re not used to hearing traffic.
Some information on walks from the site would have been welcome.

The space and hedges between each pitch makes this campsite a real gem. The quiet and respect followed by other campsite users also made the stay. The facilities are great with the addition of a family room with bath if needed.
The dog field being so close is also a bonus for dog owners.
Being able to hire a fire pit really made our camp, so many sites ban fires all together.
Our daughter even received a hidden Easter egg from the owners, such a lovely touch.
Really impressed that the owner was litter picking straight after pitches were cleared and mowing the grass. This site is clearly cared for and managed so well.

The road noise is the only tiny comment and why I wouldn’t rate the location as 5/5. There are however great walks from the site and being so close to the famous Sutton hoo is another bonus.

Easy to get to and good location.
Very large fully serviced pitches.
Neat and tidy.
Owners were very nice and friendly and available whenever needed.
Playground and field in the middle means you can sit outside and watch the kids from the pitch.
Fire pit and a whole wheelbarrow of logs for a tenner.

Each pitch is separated by a hedge and has its own water and electric supply. There is also two fridge freezers for you to use in the reception shed. Each pitch is clearly numbered and the site send a welcome email a few days before your stay with directions and a site plan, I thought this was a really nice touch. Easy to find and well kept. This place is great, has everything that you need and more.

Hard ground (I'm being picky). Anyone with plastic pegs would do well to upgrade to inexpensive hard ground pegs.
