The size of the pitch and the self contained feel to the pitch with its own water and electricity.

No one about, very basic ‘ campsite’ feel. Very small. Shower block unwelcoming.

This was a lovely setting . The pitch we had was a good size, level and there were lots of woodland trees behind us giving a very countryside feel. The showers were hot and had a good pressure. There was a small hut near the entrance to the site with a freezer, socket for charging mobile phones and an electric kettle - ideal if you aren't on electric hook up. There was also some information about the local area. We were roadside and there was a bit of traffic noise but nothing that disturbed our sleep.
The owners were very helpful and replied to my emails very quickly.

Used to pitch tent for first time last minute booking. Arrived and sign on board showed allocated pitch. Easy to get to site, toilets were clean and pitches good size.

Road side pitches picked up noise particularly in morning from a relatively busy road. Not a huge issue though.

We especially liked the location of the site in relation to our visit to Sutton Hoo
The site was informal and relaxed, and the pictures were of a good size
The facilities were good and modern
The cost of staying there was excellent
We will return to Sutton Hoo again and would stay there
I would also investigate what local facilities there are near there to try to stay longer
We normally stay on membership type sites but this reminder does very much so of when we first started camping sat outside your tent listening to kids play and families talking all very convivial

A tiny bit of road noise, but we were at the back of the field

Good facilities, relaxed, nice location, peaceful yet not isolated, showers and toilets good, allows fires, no complaints especially for the price, very friendly owners, WiFi was good but dropped in and out, small trees around each pitch makes them cosy

Showers could do with a bench or rail to avoid getting clothes wet

Lovely site,in a really lovely part of Suffolk. Toilets are clean, pitch level and grass short. Water and electric at each pitch. Each pitch has hedges both sides for privacy. Excellent wifi. We felt safe there as owners live on site.Although we are only a couple,we don't mind family sites,but this site seemed to keep the families one end and couples the other end. There are some beautiful walks from the site, and a pub not too far away. There is plenty to discover in the area.Play area for children.

The only thing I didn't like was, the chemical point. I'd like the wash down hose to be slightly away from the emptying point, so it can't get splashed. Having said that, I didn't use the hose, simply filled a spare container of water to rinse the cassette. So no problem really.
