We have just got home from a week stay at stonham barns. The lady who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful. Showed us to our pitch personally. We liked legends bar and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great drinks prices and entertainment. Carboot, crazy golf and foot golf where all great kids loved it.

Pitches far too close together.
Definitely doesn’t met the fire regulations on distance. We was very close to the caravan next to us also the two tents behind us their guide ropes over crossed ours. Their gas stove was less than a metre away from our awning.
Too many cars parked at pitches blocking the driveway to our pitch some having 3 cars.
Showers & Toilets were hardly cleaned for the week we was there. Water often going off and toilets blocked.

Rubbish and kids toys laying everywhere had to move them to be able to get our car in or out. People emptying there waste water in the hedge rows which unfortunately for us we was along the hedge row. (I know not site direct fault)
But lack of security/ staff not patrolling the site people just taking the mick and not abiding by the set rules.

Generator that powers the site is very noisy at night time. First night I thought it was someone’s car running all night long.

Bit disappointed with the shopping village (one of the reasons we picked site) shops hardly ever open.

Yes we both had a really lovely camping trip we loved it that much we actually extended our stay for an extra 3 days we will definitely be back again ❤️

Nice clean campsite and family friendly. Toilet and shower block were clean every morning and staff were very friendly. There is lots to do there to keep little ones entertained and places to eat so no need to cook.Lots of water points so you never have to walk far. Everywhere was dog friendly so we could take him at meal times and in the shops there. The owl sanctuary even had kennels outside you could use for free so you don't have to leave them behind in the motorhome.

Pitches were close together with no gap between the neighbours.
No where to empty waste water from our motorhome.

Loved the lady at reception very helpful & friendly. Walked us to our pitch and as husband is disabled checked to ensure all was ok. The staff in the shop & bar were great very friendly and prices in both were very reasonable.Site was lovely motorhome & caravan pitches were well lit and fairly level . Nice shops with friendly owners quite a few were to let.

Came from Cornwall especially to see the Vintage Coach & Bus show. Unfortunately we were unable to get in due to the card machine not working was advised to go to post office who declined to give cash back on credit cards & building society bank cards which meant we & others people were not able to go very disappointed as there was no other way to get cash. Toilets leaked and in dire need of repairing or replacing the showers looked ok but nowhere to leave dry clothes.
It would be a good idea to arrange for a cash point machine or for the pub , shop to give cashback in case of cardmachine failure. Camping field not lit up so very dark which could cause issues if needing the toilet during the night. Don't think we will return unless there is some updating of the site. Missed bootsale as not given any info as to location or times.

Friendly staff, nice size spaces, lots of water spots and really good facilities.

Unfortunately the toilets and shower are in need of up dating and improving. However that being said they were always clean.

Big open space, not squeezed in, friendly staff, plenty of electricity hook up and water points, lots for the kids to do and plenty of shops.

Nothing spring's to mind.

Everything great weekend away for adults and children. Toilets are clean tidy lovely staff lots of things to do the fishing is great

The only dislike I would say is the café is very expensive. It cost me £57 for me and my partner and three small children this was for two English breakfast a waffle with syrup pancakes with syrup and a scrambled egg on toast. I couldn’t complain about the food tho it was very tasty just seemed overpriced. this does not reflect on the campsite though as they are two different businesses
