There is a very sweet cat who likes to come visit for cuddles....we have nick named her Dusty (fitting for a site called Springfield( ;).

We're sorry to hear you had an issue with the showers. We want to assure you that our showers are checked regularly and run on separate boilers. Each shower has its own thermostat that can be adjusted to your personal preference. We hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

We must admit, we were a little puzzled by the 7/10 rating given all the lovely things you had to say and that you couldn't find a single thing to dislike! The pitch was spacious which included a fire pit and drinking water tap which is brilliant and the view from the pitch was very nice. A small park on site for our 3 year old was handy. The campers kitchen is a really good offering and very handy, the toilets were always clean and the showers were good (hot with decent pressure).
With it being a small site there was a really nice atmosphere at night.
Will recommend to friends and family and will definitely be returning as it’s only 15mins from home.

Great information hut , campers kitchen with everything you need and more. All facilities were clean and great attention to detail. ( children's steps and toilet seats) lovely children's play area. Added bonus of a pizza van on Friday night, pizzas are delicious. Sharon and David are amazing hosts lovely friendly helpful and nothing is too much trouble turkey doing a great job. Excellent kids park and super safe as the site has a gated entrance and exit for cars. The facilities are over and above. All sites have provided fire pits. The toilets are lovely, even in darkness they are lit up with fairy lights. They have a campers kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave even little stools for the younger kids. They have a book store that includes a kids corner with photos of local wildlife and details of them. They have hammocks. They have wood for your fire and smores to purchase. Not forgetting the herbs garden where you can pick fresh herbs and cook with them on site for free!! Never saw a campsite like it. Sharon and David, the campsite managers are absolutely lovely. They make sure everyone has everything they need and provide a first class service 👏 they make the campsite what it is.
It is that good we are returning again next week!

We've put a lot of love into creating a place where families can relax and enjoy, so hearing your appreciation for the kids' park, our gated entrance for safety, and all our facilities truly makes our efforts worthwhile.
We're especially happy you noticed the little touches, from the fairy lights in the toilets to the well-equipped campers' kitchen, the book store with its local wildlife section, and of course, our herb garden. It's great to know you made use of the fire pits, and that the wood and s'mores were a hit!
