The whole site was lovely lots to do and friendly staff. Especially the man who was cleaning the shower block

We come here all the time in our motorhome but unfortunately on the way travelling we broke down!

I phoned the staff and explained the situation and had to wait for roadside recovery…due to this we couldn’t make our stay ….I asked if I could come on another date and was told NO!!!!they can’t do that!!!so I asked for a refund and was told the same!!!!!im very disappointed with them and don’t think we will ever return back to them ….

I asked for a secluded pitch due to having a dog but wasn't granted it and there were plenty of spaces around the edge of pitch that I could have been placed.

Location , member of staff at ice cream place was nice.

Expensive, no free WiFi, no one to answer my query at reception after trying to phone them, didn’t respond to text either. Couldn’t find Motorhome touring pitch as had no number to identify it, quite a lot of litter about, map of site is misleading, very large site, need a bike to get around, showers quite dirty, touring pitches small, lacks privacy.

We loved every minute of our safe staff were lovely and very helpful. Especially the lifeguard staff that made it fun for my children. Plenty of entertainment to keep the little ones entertained through the day and night. We could of stayed longer We had so much fun.

Unfortunately the food at the boathouse was a bit disappointing and we had to get a refund on out adult meals.

And the camping showers weren't great either cuts off after a minute and took ages to wash the shampoo out of your hair. It was quite frustrating when you had to shower 3 young children one being a baby. They where also dirty after people using them mud and sand in the blocks

Great showers (site was full so was sometimes a bit untidy)

Pitches need to be demarcated or someone to take you down, show you where to park. We were perfectly parked (and warden confirmed this) but disgruntled neighbor (who was mostly drunk) made regular comments about us being close to them. The pitches are tight but no worse than most.

Only there for two nights, would have done more and explored the area.

Poor organisation of late check in, had to wait nearly 20 mins (there were 3 families ahead of me) while a member of staff went to get “keys” why not send them down as soon as reception closes?
Cant book activities for the day you leave.
Tent pitches are jammed in so close to each other you can hear their airbed when they move!
No security during the night, raucous campers keeping others up till past 2:30am with kids running around screaming! Never been anywhere so badly organised

Clean, Friendly and welcoming. Facilities and entertainment for the kids was a winner. Thank you for having us and one day in near future we'll return. Take care

Restaurants, entertainment complex & onsite supermarket all good, clean and well stocked with reasonable pricing.
All staff were super friendly and the swimming pool guards were great fun with the kids (and adults too).
Beach was lovely and 19th Hole bar with live music most days was lovely given how remote the location is.

Toilets were disgusting. Drains blocked up, toilets piled wiht loo roll and poo. Instead of cleaning, the cubicle doors were just locked so you couldn't use them. ON two occasions there was just 1 toilet in the ladies bathroom for the entire evening and morning. Ran out of toilet roll most nights. Would be better to have separate toilets for the campers and the motorhome/tourer users as they were left absolutely vile every afternoon, to the point we went to the restaurant to use them instead. They need more regular cleaning when the site is so full and busy.

Cost of activity clubs was a lot (£10 p/30 min session) when you have 3 kids that adds up quickly across a weeks stay.
No WiFi in the camping/touring area at all.

Put off as soon as we arrive abit late but on time to be the misrule receptionist. Let it go as it was late but next went back to as for gas refill but again same helpless attitude. We got pitched good sleep. The next morning thinknrheres 6 toilet yet was.onky to with locks on the doors told cleaner the following day he says been asking for ages . The following day waste discharge point not working also.had been reported and not fixed. Then to top all the weekend off the grass cutter came to cut the grass driving straight over the pebbled pitch casing stones to fly everywhere damaging cars and cracking lights on caravans . Which the driver denied all doing case on going certainly wont be revisiting. 😡
