What a fantastic site all facilities very clean, just a great place to stay,beautiful location with so much room on each pitch, it’s the second time I’ve been and definitely won’t be the last, can highly recommend

We loved this campsite! There were only 3 other campers the night we stayed, so we had complete privacy. The pitches are very spacious, and the wildflower meadow field is left intact, which we appreciated. The facilities are basic but clean - perfect for us. The owner, Claire, was kind and helpful. No check-out time (alarm clocks discouraged). In short, this campsite seems to cater to campers like us,who have a small campervan, don't rely on electricity or extended facilities, and are looking for peace and quiet. Highly recommend and hope we can go back some day!

Stayed as a middle aged couple with adult daughter.
Cannot rate this campsite highly enough. Beautiful scenery, quiet, camped in a wildflower meadow surrounded by butterflies, birds and bees.
Facilities were clean and good, with hot water for washing up and showers. The highlight of our trip was the provided campfire. £5 for logs and a great deal of fun starting the fire and toasting marshmallows.
The staff are helpful, relaxed and diligent. Really enjoyed our stay.
The longstock cafe and farm shop up the road was a bonus for supplies, coffee and breakfast.

The peacefulness of this site is to be admired. You are almost off grid. We took a local walk over to the Cow Meadows - where we paddled in the river. Then on to the Mayfly for a drink. Such a good location, if you explore wider than the campsite. Great amenities - water and showers.
