No em va agradar: Hardstanding was overgrown and had to drive over grass to get to it. But concerning with the amount of rain there’d been. Didn’t want to get stuck.

However, As you would have been aware when you booked, We advertise grass pitches only, Which is what you booked. So I am confused that you found the 'hard standing' was overgrown considering we don't have any. The whole of the touring area is grass, With a few bases that have a patio area.

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Our first ever stay with our caravan. The site was lovely and peaceful, plenty spaces to choose from. Toilet blocks a little dated but clean and my partner said the shower was the best he’s ever had!
Electric hook up and water points easy to use with no problems.
Had a short walk into the lovely town of Peebles. Shops, takeaways right in the doorstep.
The site was immaculate and a lovely welcome by the warden on arrival.No em va agradar: The only thing we disliked was the fact that the site is a lot more run down from the advert on here. Someone in the town that we spoke to explain that it’s changed ownership recently.
There is no longer a “family bar” we had a little drive around the site and found the “hayloft family bar” completely closed down. So that was disappointing and false advertising.
There was I would say 6 static caravans and 4 lodges left on the HUGE site. I think the ad on pitch up and the sites own website needs updating as families might book and turn up for the bar and play area which is advertised but which are no longer there. It’s literally touring pitches and toilets - which is fine but basic.
The only reason for the lack of stars.
Absolutely nothing more to dislike.

You booked on pitch up and as such everything we have or don't have is listed as it is. 'The touring area' with EHU, toilets, showers and fresh water, chemical waste points are as described and the photos represent how the park is, Most of which are from recent visitors.
We were disappointed with your 'dislikes' as they are unfair, The touring area is not run down, as you can see from our other reviews, and the small team here work very hard to keep the touring area and amenities to a high standard for our guests.
To review areas that are clearly not open with no signage to say what that area was is disappointing to us.
There hasn't been a bar here since 2019. What we advertise on Pitch Up is exactly what we have to offer.
We don't say that we have a bar, or play area, The park is waiting for planning approval, Hence the empty bases around private areas of the HUGE site.

Toilet block was cleanNo em va agradar: Someone kept putting the keypad latch off on the main door into the toilet block the security lock is on these for a reason and how difficult is it to remember 4 digits
Some people couldn’t follow the site rules about keeping their dogs on leads
These issues have nothing to do with the site just people using
