Friendly, helpful staff. Good size pitch and lovely setting

Lack of places to eat within walking distance. Could do with mobile food vans and maybe a popup bar calling on to the site or a club house.

Site could be nice with more TLC

Mud left on newly created pitches making it unavoidable to tread through to get inside your motorhome. Water tap shared in middle of boggy field, muddy electric hook up. Reception closed at 7pm but to be fair this is pointed out in your booking, but if travelling here after work makes for a tight arrival time. Worst was the potholes around the site access road this should have been resolved before opening the site. Unfortunately as the site was so wet people had no where to park their cars as the grass was not suitable so very tight to manoeuvre around the parked cars. Pitches are close together so little area for sitting if you could get your car parked on the grass area.

Toilet and wash facilities

Everything else mud, sloppy pitches unbelievable music noise until 5am the upper part of the camp seems normal the mid and lower camp quite difficult due to a poor set up if you’re in the lower camp field you need a taxi to the toilets an shower if you’re in the mid field you all end up on top of each other due to the slope the guy in the office was helpful but it is what it is if you camp in the lower field and it rains and you don’t have a good 4x4 then you’re stuck in the mud

Pitch was uneven!! Muddy and had to put van in nose first to have any chance of getting the awning up!! (See pics)

On a hill - not disclosed in the booking info, I feel this needs to be updated on the site. Wouldn’t have booked if this was in the info..

Really muddy on arrival - was told he was debating to call people to rebook or not, would have saved us the journey.

One tent played music until 6am they did turn it down but it was still loud in a field… didn’t keep in with the rules.

Lovely, clean and well kept site. Great value for money too! Toilet and shower blocks were absolutely spot on.

The location was great, lots of walks in the area, couple of nice local pubs, the shower/toilet block clean and warm lol, loved my stay,

Nothing, if you could arrange sunshine on tap in March that would be amazing

Nice view, 5min walk to local pubs toilets clean but washing up facilities arein the open so when raining very wet .

Pitch was hardstanding but very small and had no room to park your car and was uneven which made it difficult to get caravan on and off, no room for an awning which we had paid for.

Very well maintained grounds, the garden was so friendly and welcoming.

Showers and toilets immaculate and lovely and warm on a wet weekend.

Close to town but you feel far away from the world and at peace

Park was great too!
