The site was quiet and although we were quite near to the road, this didn't detract from the stunning views and location.
Check in was quick and easy, with the site owner being helpful, friendly and even apologetic when it became apparent that our online booking had not been transferred from pitchup.com. We would definitely return and recommend this site.No em va agradar: –

No em va agradar: Only three showers for a large campsite is insufficient, there were queues in the morning. The site itself is not in walking distance of anywhere other than a dual carriageway.

We actually have 9 showers for our guests. Your comments regarding the queues in the morning have been noted, but I have never experienced any. There is a cafe within walking distance, but we do recommend our guests use the bus that stops by our entrance, or use their own vehicle to explore the many things to do in the local area.
One of the best kept campsites we've stayed in.

Staff - friendly and helpful, showed full range of services and provided map and details of the site.
Large tent only field. Perfect for my solo camping night where I had it to myself.

The staff are beyond helpful, very friendly and even offered to take my rubbish for me. The site is so quiet even when there are lots of people staying. It’s the perfect mix of nature and modern amenities like the shower blocks which were spotless. They even had a hairdryer. It’s the little things that make such a difference.
The location is also great, right in the middle of nowhere but with so many great attractions within a short driving distance.I’d highly recommend this site to anybody looking at it! 🙂

staff were friendly and helpful. Especially throughout the wet Easter weekend. made extra efforts to ensure vans could get on and off camping field.
Close to tourist attractions as they are only a short drive away. Beautiful settings and dog friendly.No em va agradar: As every campsite, I would of liked a closer toilet. But that is me just nip picking as we coped in our campervan.
