Location, fully serviced caravan pitch, amount of space per pitch, showers were clean and hot, good value for money

Not the fault of the owners, but some of the other campers were
extremely noisy until the early hours of the morning despite an 11pm quiet time.
A shop on site or the pizza van that previous reviewers had mentioned would have been a welcomed addition

Really nice location, only minutes away from both busy Pwllheli and quiet Morfa Nefyn. Staff really attentive but not in your face, beautiful surroundings and clean facilities.

So much more potential at this site for a little shop / market garden as the infrastructure is already there. Also Wifi is lacking as at most Welsh sites.

Really good location for exploring the Llyn peninsula. Owners were really helpful as it was our first time in the caravan. It's a basic site but the pitch we had was fully serviced, toilets and showers were clean (bring a pound for a shower and bring your own toilet roll) and there is a little play area with bikes to use for little ones.

The area around the site is very beautiful and there are lots of places of interests to visit

The toilets on the touring side of the camp were quite dire. They were extremely poor quality with bar stools and a makeshift worktop. Although we were made aware of the need to take our own toilet paper to the toilet, this was quite embarrassing to do. The cost of the showers was ridiculous and to manage a shower in the time, it was necessary to undress outside the (1) shower cubicle. There wasn’t room inside to put clothes without them getting wet. It wasn’t allowed to have a toilet tent and this made it all very difficult for my young grandchild.
The field was extremely boggy - inevitable due to rain but a problem nevertheless. Pitches are very uneven making it very difficult to add an air awning and necessitating going to the bottom of the field which was very wet and waterlogged.
The staff were quite rude. The female of which had - what can only be described as - a potty mouth. When we arrived she rammed a full biscuit in her mouth and totally ignored us. She chain smoked in front of the children which wasn’t appropriate.

Taking my own toilet roll everytime i needed the toilet. Paying for hot water for shower and feeling rushed while in there due to not knowing how long i had left. The weather cant be helped but on cold and wet days no hot water wasnt helpful. Struggled to wash pots also due to this. Spoke to the camp owner a few time. She was rude, swearing all the time. We spoke to her about concerns regarding another pitch, speaking to the children with them with really nasty language. She advised calling social services was a waste of time and too much hard work. We left early!

Location ( not s bad drive to thr beach

Having to pay fot the showers,
Having to carry toilet roll over the field as they dont provide it is quite embarrassing,
And once you have no were to put it,

The campsite is central to the peninsula and is within easy reach of Pwllheli, Porthmadog, Caernarfon & Abersoch. We stayed in the field furthest from reception which are all grass pitches and is mixed in with the tents. There are two portacabins for the Ladies & Gents toilets & showers. The showers are £1 for 4mins. This is incorrectly advertised in the summary as 20p for 5mins. In fact there are only two showers (In the other shower block) that take 20p and it is for 2mins not 4. The other shower is 50p for 5mins. I recommend using the showers near reception as the ones in the tent field are pretty grim. The two people who run the site were friendly and introduced themselves on arrival. We were shown to our pitch and informed of the fire regulations and where we could set up the van and park the car. The pitch was a decent size with plenty of room for all our gear. It also has its own tap, electric point & drain. The price of the pitch was very fair considering it was a bank holiday weekend.

No WiFi, mobile signal is patchy and slow.
The shower block in the tent field isn't great and a lot pricier than the shower block near reception. I also don't like the fact that you have to take your own toilet paper.
Would've liked to put the gazebo up but apparently this is a fire risk and must be taken down each night so we didn't bother.
The grass pitches slope a little and when it rains will make it difficult to pull away without skidding. I decided to pull my van out first before loading it up.
The tents in the middle of the field had several yapping dogs.
The electric was temperamental and went off for all the pitches a couple of times, but was soon rectified.
