The owners/managers, Richard and Chris were very friendly and helpful. Lending us a trolley jack when we needed to change a wheel following a puncture. Another caravan couple loaned us a compressor to boost the air in the spare.

The site itself is lovely. Pitches are spacious and well maintained. We had electric hook up and water on the hard standing we used. Electricity is charged "as used", so you only pay for what you use which is better for us. The site is quiet and peaceful.

Campers use the site too and there was a fridge/freezer available to keep food frozen and chilled, plus a washing machine, clothes line and iron.

There are two fishing lakes. My partner used the one along the front driveway. It was well stocked with fish in lovely condition.

It would be nice if there were designated "male" and "female" shower units.

There are a few potholes in the main driveway that could do with filling in.

If you are after peace and quiet in a tranquil beautiful site then this is the place for you. It even has a super country pub in easy easy walking distance

Nothing to dislike

Tranquil, rural setting with very little light pollution.
Campsite is well equipped, the tent pitches being mostly dotted across a wildflower meadow adds an element of privacy not found on many other sites.

Absolutely beautiful site!
Loads of wildlife, quiet and laid back.
Owners were friendly and facilities were well maintained. They had washing machines, dryers, freezer, fridge, microwave, little selection of books and DVDs to borrow … everything!
I really recommend the non electric solo pitches - perfect for a get away.
Very dog friendly with lovely walks on site (that weren’t on All Trails so be sure to ask the guys who run the site).
Had a brilliant time! Would definitely visit again :)

Everything!! Spacious pitches lovely relaxing feel with lots of farmyard animals visiting like ducks and chickens. We also spotted rabbits and Richard who is the owner is very pleasant and helpful. You could also put your frozen stuff in their freezers in the laundry room where there was dish washing sinks and a washing machine and tumble dryer for a small cost. Would definitely come back again and just wish it was nearer to where we live 👍🏻 also was only a short 20 minute safe stroll to the beautiful village of Hingham which has everything you could possibly need including a lovely pub and Lincoln’s tea rooms which has absolutely delicious home cooked food and very friendly service.

Think they could maybe do with a couple more showers but personally l didn’t mind waiting.

It was very quiet. The pitches was large and not lined up in an open filed. There was trees bushes and long grass in between which gave you some privacy. There was lovely walks round a field which was good for the dogs. Will definitely book again.

Another great stay. Easy arrival procedure. Pitch was level, clean and a very good size for tent and car. The reception we received on arrival was friendly and we were made to feel welcomed.

The shower and toilet facilities were clean.

We arrived at midday and was welcomed by the owner, we was told about the site facilities etc and shown to our well cut grass pitch on the side of the main lake.
The site is quiet situated a short walk from hingham village.
The electric is payg it was £1.50 for our 3 night stay. The fishing was lovley carp upto 20lb rudd bream all nice fish.
Shower and toilet facilities were clean and well maintained.
Everyone who was on site at the same time as us was really friendly.

Coming home.

This was an excellent stay. The owner was warm and welcoming and our shepherd's hut was fantastic, clean and equipped with everything for a glamping break. We particularly found the fenced off area around our hut very useful considering we brought our St Bernard along who also had an amazing doggy friendly holiday. We enjoyed wonderful walks with lovely flower field scenary. We also walked into Hingham village and enjoyed the tea room.

We enjoyed the brilliant sheltered bbq area with sink, fridge, fire pit with logs included very accommodating for what we expected for our glamping trip away.

We will definitely be returning!
