We lived the farm it was quite and tidy whete we stayed. The hurs where perfect for our needs. Loved the animals

No recycling bin, tad messy with rubbish near the park.

The site is lovely and clean and is quiet most of the time. The toilet and shower facilities are good and are generally clean and most people clean up after themselves. The shepherd's hut was nice and clean

The steps up to the shepherd's hut needed replacing. It was advertised as 2 single beds and a double but was 2 doubles. The top bunk had no safety rail so not really suitable for children

Site was simple but really nice, kids enjoyed themselves too x

Only comment i would have is finding staff was difficult , my partner wanted to buy fishing bait, noone in the office if called the number and no answer then when he did find someone a few hours later they claimed they didn't sell it but you could see it in the cage next to the fire wood with the sign saying ring this number for bait 😅

It was so lovely, nice and clean. Amenities were spot on, always in there early seeing the lass clean away and keeping things topped up.

The only dislike, which isn't really a dislike it was more of a small inconvenience was the vending machines were cash only and I only had card so had to go off site to find a shop because my lil lad had spotted the marshmallows in the vending and desperately wanted them.

We had a lovely stay at Poplar Grove, this is our second visit & we’ll definitely be returning next year! The site is completely tidy and clean & the facilities are great!
The pitches are huge in size which allow for set up of awning and outdoor seating. The park is great and our little boy spent most of his time playing on there. After an issue one night (mentioned in the dislike) the owner couldn’t be more apologetic (though not her or the sites fault!)

There is a lake/pond, live animals & chickens. The vending machines are fully stocked and there are posters around the toilet block with near by amenities/information which was really useful! I will continue to recommend this site to family/friends looking for a nice chilled out break.

This is NO fault of the site whatsoever (hopefully some parents/grandparents will consider the behaviour of their children after reading this!) but some parents do not give a hoot of what their children are up to or what they are saying - initially they play lovely but as the day/night goes on they become more feral with swearing, shouting & screaming (up until 10.30pm/11pm) our second to last night was ruined by a VERY inappropriate ask being made to our 4 year old by a kid much older than him & then during our last night another older child was incredibly naughty, shouting, hitting and pushing others & genuinely not a very nice boy, but again (the seasonal pitched) grandparents couldn’t care less despite being right next to the park/field & being able to hear him.

We haven’t let this deter us though & will absolutely return!!

Lovely little site! Pods are clean and cosy, with the added bonus of a kettle, toaster & fridge to make meal prep easier. Fishing lakes kept my little ones occupied for hours each day. Nearby family play activities and restaurants are fab too! Would definitely visit again!

Absolutely loved it here 🥰 wish we had of done longer then 2 nights. We was in a perfect spot. Shepherds huts (premium) loved everything about it. Can’t wait to come back
