We were so grateful for the kind service we received immediately after parking. Everything was very well explained and much consideration was taken that it was our first time camping. They were very flexible which we really appreciated as we weren't sure what time we would arrive or leave.

Lovely site with good views. Good access to the black mountains and a short drive away from Pen-y-fan trail, the caves and the 4 waterfalls walk. If you like the night sky, its lovely and dark and there's plenty of nature around. See red kites, buzzards and heard sparrow hawk around the area. Will def visit again.

Good showers and toilet facilities. Close yo a town for essentials if needed.

Ground is very hilly so you definitely need chocks should you be in a notorhome/campervan or pitch smart if in a tent. Not the campsites fault but be prepared to take your rubbish home (due to new rules by Welsh government on recycling and lack of infrastructureat this location.) you are able to dispose of dog mess though just nothing else. Duke of Edinburgh students also use the site so be aware when using showers that teenagers may be using facilities too.

Very friendly site with basic but clean facilities. Beautiful, peaceful location, shops within driving distance. Perfect base for exploring the area. Large camping area so you’re not packed in like sardines, you get your own privacy, if wanted.

Simple and effective. Had everything we needed. Due to it being a quiet weekend we were allowed to use and area of the Duke of Edinburgh sheltered area which was much appreciated.

Can’t fault it.

Don’t forget your 50p coins for the showers. They last approx 5mins and are hot.

Could do with hot water at the pot wash facility. Had to do shuttle runs to get hot water from the toilet blocks

David was very welcoming with useful knowledge on the local area. Large area for parking/pitching and wonderful views.

Only two toilets and one shower for each sex, was fine when we stayed but might be more difficult when the site is busier

The host was fantastic. He gave us great knowledge of the local area. The whole operation is very relaxed.

Great views, good facilities. David was super helpful as we got stuck in the mud on the first night! Dogs loved it and we would certainly come back if we was in the area!

Absolutely beautiful location and lovely atmosphere on the site. We managed to get our van stuck in the mud (completely our fault) and the incredibly kind farmer rescued us with his tractor. There were several other kind people also willing to help. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat, it was just beautiful.
