also pitches was hard to manoeuvre the caravan into the spot, only suitable if you have a Moto mover.

Beautiful campsite! Ideal for camping, glamping, tenting and to get away from all the stress of day to day life. Big hardstanding level pitches for campers and motorhomes, extra car or visitor's car allowed. All the facilities were squeaky clean, everything in working order. There are also glamping pods and bell tents available. Huge campsite, very well kept, with a little shop and it's own laundrette. There is also a little playground for the little ones. Dogs are welcome, too 😊 There is lots to do, what with the National Watersports Centre only minutes away. We've been here a few times now and haven't found anything to moan about yet 👍

Didn't care much for the horrendous rain we had for weeks now, that turned the campsite into a playground for wildlife, which was lovely to see. A huge part of the campsite has turned into a lake but the hardstanding plots were fine, no problem getting off it. Other than the rain there was absolutely nothing we could complain about it. Happy campers 😊

The site is easy to find and close to shops and restaurants in West Bridgford (though not readily walkable perhaps). The shower and toilet block (only one was open in December) looked fine, but without heating, so we didn’t try the showers. It may get rather busy, though, in high season. Laundry facilities looked good though we didn’t use them.

While the site is nice and flat, after a lot of rain the grass areas became completely waterlogged. We couldn’t actually find our pitch on arrival because it was hidden by a large puddle which had iced over. (The staff at reception dealt efficiently with this later in the week and moved bookings around so that we didn’t have to use that hard standing). Some maintenance of the roadways and filling of potholes would make walking around the site pleasanter. We were unable to join up to the WiFi though it appeared to be there.

Very poor lighting around site, making it difficult to find pitch etc, in the dark.
Fields were flooded and potholes numerous.
Shower/toilet block cold, and showers had nowhere to put clean clothes.

Nothing really, mucky pathways, unwelcoming shower block a distance from pitches, not sure where water fill up was! Codes to get in loos.... Just camp wild!

It was very cozy and comfortable.

The heating timed off in the middle of the night which is understandable. I just didn't want to get out of bed!!😁😁😁. The roadways need renewing as many potholes due to the rain.
